We collect as little as we can. This page says what we keep, why, and how to ask us to remove it.

1Who is responsible

We keep your name, email, phone number, the experiences and dates you booked, the number of guests, any note you write, and the time you accepted the terms. We need them to run your booking, send your confirmation and contact you if something changes.
Payments are made on Razorpay’s secure page. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. We only keep the payment reference Razorpay gives us.
After your booking we may email you: your confirmation and voucher; one reminder if you started a booking but did not finish it; and one short message after your visit asking for a review. We send nothing else, and we never sell or share your address.

We count visits to understand what works on our website. We do it without cookies and without storing anything on your device. We do not keep your IP address, name or email in these statistics.
To protect the booking and contact forms from automated abuse, we briefly count how many requests come from the same connection. This uses a one-way scrambled code, never your IP address itself, and it is deleted within a day.
A visit is recognised by a one-way code made from your connection and browser together with a secret that changes every day. It cannot be traced back to you and cannot follow you from one day to the next.
We record the page, the website you came from, the type of device (phone, tablet or computer) and which booking buttons were pressed. If your browser sends the “Do Not Track” signal, we count nothing.
These statistics are deleted after 14 months.

If you write to us through the contact form or subscribe to the newsletter, we keep your message and email to answer you or send the news you asked for. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Our small team at Sita. Our service providers only do their part: Razorpay (payment), Supabase (secure database hosting) and Gmail (sending emails). Google also shows our public reviews, which come from Google itself.

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the data we hold about you. Write to sitapondicherry@gmail.com. We delete booking data when it is no longer needed for accounting and legal reasons.
